What is it?
20TWENTY3RDEYEVISION is an album created during the pandemic by rapper/poet and producer Nived3RD.
Concept
As a result of being furloughed from my position as a graphic artist for a children's athletic clothing line due to the pandemic, I found myself with ample time to explore and experiment with various artistic mediums. It was during this time that I rediscovered my passion for making beats and writing raps and embarked on a journey to create the album 20TWENTY3RDEYEVISION.
In the artistic rendering, I am depicted as reciting a poignant poem while neon green and blue goo cascades from my nose and mouth, symbolizing the emotional depth and intensity of the lyrics. My eyes are adorned with whimsical caterpillars reminiscent of the iconic Dr. Seuss characters, which spray water like a fire hose, representing a valiant effort to extinguish the metaphorical flames of the tumultuous year that was 2020.
